One tank does not tell you the month
The trip computer resets. A single full-tank calculation ignores the three partial fill-ups you did not write down. Receipts show the money and not always the odometer.
A fuel mileage tracker needs the distance and the fuel together. Without both, cost per kilometer is a guess, and so is the difference between summer and winter.
